Service Description

Yoga & Mindfulness for Birth 5 week birth preparation is designed for women in their 3rd trimester. Every session focuses on movements that create space in the pelvis and help with baby's descent and rotation. ​ You will have an opportunity to explore several active birth positions, practice different breathing techniques, meditations, visualisations and Yoga Nidra for relaxation. ​ We will explore different positions using a birth ball, peanut ball and a rebozo (Mexican shawl). ​ You will learn the benefits of vocalising during birth. You will have an opportunity to work on any fears that you may have around your upcoming birth and to build resilience and strength in your body and mind. You'll get a chance to meet other like-minded mothers to-be and become a part of a beautiful local community of new mamas.
